Cicerone C2C Cycle Route - Since its inception in 1994, the C2C cycle route has become the UK's favourite cycle challenge. In its 136 miles between the Irish Sea at Whitehaven and the North Sea at Tynemouth, it takes in some of northern England's finest scenery, including the Lake District, the Eden Valley and the Pennines.
This guide is for everyone taking up the challenge, whether in a single day or a whole week, and full of advice on planning and preparation for everyone from first-time cycle tourers to trail-hardened speed fiends.
